An estimated 75-90% of cardiac arrests occur outside hospital. Immediate bystander CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival, but an AED only helps if people nearby know how to use it.

Who teaches the course?
The course is taught by Dr Miguel del Río, a specialist paediatrician with more than 10 years’ experience in paediatric critical care. He works in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at La Paz University Hospital, one of Spain’s leading referral hospitals.
Does the course include CPR for children?
Yes. The course combines clear instruction with hands-on practice in CPR for adults and children, AED use and first aid for choking, using training manikins and an AED trainer. Infant CPR is also included in the course delivered at your premises.
Can you deliver the course at our premises?
Yes. We can deliver the course at your school, workplace, residential complex or another suitable venue. Training is also available at our clinic in Madrid.
Can companies use FUNDAE training credit for this course?
Yes, provided your company is eligible and has sufficient training credit. We can manage the FUNDAE funding process on your behalf.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Each participant receives a Clínica SAMON certificate confirming completion of the course. The training is also suitable for organisations seeking accreditation as a cardioprotected site.
